Operands

OperandDescription
SThe first operand.
Entries are Hexadecimal WORD data registers or constants.
This is the value to be converted to ASCII code.

The value range is H0000 ~ HFFFF.
DThe second operand.
Entries are only ASCII WORD data registers.
This is where the conversion is saved.
The result will require 2 WORD data registers.

Notice

Error Flag (F11.0) Notice

The error flag, F11.0, will be ON for one scan when the address of the data register assigned by @D exceeds the range of the data register, D. The range of the data register, D, is dependent on the CPU type.

F11.0 turns ON when the value of the data for processing exceeds the data register assigned to D.

Instruction Behavior

The BINHA and BINHAP instructions behave as follows:

  • Converted data from the value, S, is saved into 2 WORD data registers starting at the data register, D.
    • The conversion range of the data register, D, is saved as a value between H0000 ~ HFFFF.
    • The saved result in the data registers, D and D+1, is a 4-digit Hexadecimal value in ASCII code.
  • The first digit of the conversion result is stored in the upper BYTE of the data register, D+1.
