About this User Manual

This user manual covers our Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software, CICON. The manual includes information about our CM1 and CM3 series modules under the Modules tab, different program types under the Program Types tab, the variety of instructions under the Instructions tab, internal relay flags built-in to the PLCs and software under the Internal Relay Flags tab, a glossary for all terms used within the manual under the Glossary tab, and an appendix section for additional information including module configuration, keyboard shortcuts, and more under the Appendix tab.

CIMON Educational

CIMON has free educational videos and webinars on how to use CIMON products. Users can watch training videos on CIMON's YouTube channel. Users can also sign up for webinars for in-depth CIMON products and software tutorials.

How To Guide

This user manual includes a guide on how to get started with CICON under the How To tab. The quick start guide covers useful settings to make project design quick and easy, memory allocation for addressing and selecting the correct modules within a PLC chassis, creating a project, creating a program, and entering ladder logic, connecting to a PLC, and downloading the project.

The quick start guide also cover advanced topics such as PLC security, cross referencing, and changing project properties.
