Instruction Behavior
The IRET instruction behaves as follows:
- The IRET instruction ends the periodic interrupt program.
- After executing the IRET instruction, the process returns to the scan program.
- The IRET instruction can only be used in the periodic interrupt programs.
- A compile error is thrown if the IRET instruction is used in other programs.
