Example - Ladder Diagram
FLTE
The FLTE instruction converts a LREAL value, S, into a REAL value and saves the conversion in an assigned REAL data register, D.
Ladder Diagram Example
When the contact, M5.1, is powered ON (1), the value of the LREAL data register, D0, 1.100000, is converted into 32-bit float notation.
The value of the conversion, 1.100000, is saved in the REAL data register, D10.

FLTEP
The FLTEP one-shot instruction converts a LREAL value, S, into a REAL value and saves the conversion in an assigned REAL data register, D.
Every time this instruction executes, it energizes the output only once.
Ladder Diagram Example
When the contact, M5.1, is powered ON (1), the value of the LREAL data register, D20, 99.900000, is converted into 32-bit float notation.
The value of the conversion, 99.900002, is saved in the REAL data register, D30.
