The CM3-SP04EAO and CM3-SP08EAO are powerful analog expansion modules designed to enhance the PLC-S CM3 series, bringing high-performance analog-to-digital input functionalities to your system.

Both the CM3-SP04EAO and CM3-SP08EAO modules are dedicated to analog-to-digital conversion. Whether you're working with current or voltage analog signals, these modules make it seamless to expand possible control capabilities.

  • The CM3-SP04EAO supports 4 analog input channels for current or voltage signals.
  • The CM3-SP08EAO supports 8 analog input channels for current or voltage signals, providing flexibility for larger systems.

Features​

  • The CM3-SP04EAO and CM3-SP08EAO expansion modules support the following features:
    • Input signals can be configured for current or voltage signals.
    • Multiple analog value ranges for current or voltage:
      • Current:
        • 0mA ~ 20mA
        • 4mA ~ 20mA (default)
      • Voltage:
        • -10V ~ 10V
        • 0V ~ 10V
        • 0V ~ 5V
        • 1V ~ 5V
    • Multiple digital value ranges for conversion:
      • -192 ~ 16,191
      • -8,192 ~ 8,192
      • -8,000 ~ 8,000 (required for max resolution)
      • 0 ~ 16,000 (required for max resolution)
    • Embedded digital filters for accurate values.
    • Different processing types:
      • Average processing:
        • Average Time ÷ Average Count
      • Sampling processing.
    • No quantity limitation to use in a system.
    • LED indicator to check module status.
