CM3 Ethernet Communication Module​


The CM3-SP01EET module from CIMON is an advanced Ethernet communication interface for industrial automation. It supports 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX standards, providing data transmission speeds of 10/100 Mbps with a maximum communication distance of 100 meters. The module enables various communication services, including HMI protocols, Modbus TCP (both Master and Slave), user-defined protocols, and high-speed PLC linking. It supports up to 12 concurrent services using TCP and UDP, making it ideal for robust data exchange.

  • Follows the IEEE 802.3 standard.
  • Supports ARP, ICMP, IP, TCP, UDP, and DHCP protocols.
  • Unlimited number of expansion modules are supported on one base.
    • For PLC Link, a maximum of 4 CM3-SP01EET modules can be used on one PLC base.
  • Supports DHCP using CIMON-SCADA (UltimateAccess and UltimateAccess Web).
  • Provides a Modbus TCP Master feature allowing for an excellent connection to other brand devices.
  • Supports PLC Link for high-speed communication between CIMON PLCs.
    • Can communicate with up to 64 stations.
