Installation Precautions

Before You Start

  • This manual contains important information on the use and operation of this device. Please read all the information carefully for optimal performance and to prevent any damage or misuse of the device.
  • Product installation, wiring operation, and maintenance must be performed by trained personnel.
  • Keep this manual near the operating devices for easy reference.

Safety Symbols

  • Warning: Situations that could cause major or fatal injury to the user.
  • Caution: Situations that may cause minor injury or device damage.

Design Precautions

Warning

  • Install a safety circuit to protect the entire control system in case of unexpected power shutdowns or PLC module malfunctions.
  • Use external circuits and switches to safeguard the system from mechanical damage (e.g., emergency stops, limit switches, interlocking circuits).
  • Ensure interlock circuits are configured in the scan program for data exchange or operations by external devices.

Caution

  • Do not bundle input/output or communication cables with main power cables. Maintain a minimum distance of 100mm (3.94in) to avoid malfunctions.

Mounting Precautions

Caution

  • Use the PLC only in environments meeting the specified conditions in the manual. Deviation may cause electric shock, fire, or damage.
  • Ensure all modules are correctly installed. Loose or improper installation may lead to malfunction or failure.
  • Turn off the PLC power supply before mounting modules to prevent electric shock or damage.
  • Close the terminal cover after wiring and before powering on the PLC system.

Wiring Precautions

Warning

  • Verify the device’s rated voltage and circuit arrangement before wiring to avoid electric shock or damage.
  • Ensure the terminal cover is closed before turning on the PLC power.

Caution

  • Tighten screws with standard torque to prevent short circuits, fires, or malfunctions.
  • Ground FG terminals with at least D-type (Class 3) grounding.
  • Prevent wiring debris from entering the module.

Test Run and Repair Precautions

Warning

  • Do not touch terminals while power is on to avoid electric shock or malfunctions.
  • Turn off power to the PLC and other systems before cleaning or tightening screws.

Caution

  • Do not modify or dissociate the PCB from the module casing to prevent fire or malfunctions.
  • Maintain at least 30cm distance from radio, walkie-talkie, or cellphone devices to prevent interference.

Disposal Precautions

Caution

  • Dispose of the product according to your country’s regulations for industrial waste. Failure to do so may release toxic substances or cause explosions.
