Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)

Navigate to OnlineSpecial Module SetupRTD Module or click on the RTD module within the Card Properties.

RTD Module

  1. Hold CTRL to configure all channels at once.

  2. Click Setup to configure the RTD type, digital value range, digital filter constant, or average time.

    • RTD Type:
      • Platinum 100 (PT100)
      • Japenese Platinum 100 (JPT100)
      • Platinum 1,000 (PT1000)
      • Nickel 1,000 (DIN43760)
      • Nickel 1,000 (TER5000)
      • Disable
    • Digital Value Range:
      • -192 ~ 16,191
      • -8,192 ~ 8,191
      • 0 ~ 16,000
      • -8,000 ~ 8,000
    • Digital Filter Constant:
      • Percentage value
    • Average Time:
      • Second value
  3. Once the settings are configured, click OK to confirm and apply the changes.

  4. To save the configured parameters to the PLC, click Write.

  5. Click Read to check the parameters.

  6. For real-time monitoring and module diagnostics, click Status. This displays the current value, minimum and maximum values, firmware version of the module, and any error codes.
