File Path Introduction
File Path Feature Description
Section titled “File Path Feature Description”The File Path object in Canvas provides a convenient way for users to browse and select files from local or remote storage. It can be used to load content, save data, or manage files directly from the HMI screen.
File Path Designer Functionalities
Section titled “File Path Designer Functionalities”Click Insert > File Path, or the Insert File Path icon on the toolbar, and click and drag on the page to bring up the file path object as shown below:
Properties
Section titled “Properties”The File Path object can be customized based on specific properties.
To ensure the property windows are enabled, click View > Properties.
Basic Properties
Section titled “Basic Properties”The Basic Properties section allows users to set the object's Name, a File Path to its content, and a Placeholder for the text field. It also allows users to specify the storage types, such as Local, USB, SD Card, and FTP.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”The Appearance section allows users to alter the visible characteristics.
Position
Section titled “Position”The Position section provides adjustable properties that can reshape or move the object.
Actions
Section titled “Actions”Permissions can be assigned to the file path to allow the correct users to interact with it.
